A quick breakdown of Arlington, MA Single Family Homes & Condo Prices over the last 6 years.
After a huge increase in 2022, Single Family homes were basically flat in 2023. A win in my mind considering we had the highest mortgage rates in 24 years, yet prices held firm.
Condo prices saw an incredible jump of 13.2% from 2022 to 2023, despite those pesky mortgage rates. Why? Arlington has a large supply of condos that are 1,500 SF or larger (and more being built every month) which is a great alternative to families looking to move into town, but can’t affrod a single family.
